Our Pastor...
Pastor Craig Wilson is the founder and Pastor of New Beginning Church, born in raised in Olive Branch, MS. Pastor Wilson formally attended University of Memphis in 1992 and is a graduate of Whitehaven High School. Pastor Wilson was most currently enrolled in Bethel College in an Accelerated Master's of Divinity Program.
Pastor Wilson is well known in the community and has had much success by taking the leadership roll of Head Pastor of New Beginning for more than 20 years. Pastor Wilson has built a very positive and fruitful relationship with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Methodist Church denominations which fosters connections all over the Tennessee area.
Our Ministries...
Our Ministry Program includes: The Men's Ministry, The Women's Ministry, The Youth & Young Adult Enrichment Ministry, The Singles' Ministry, The Children's Ministry (Ages 3-8), and the Male Mentor Ministry.
New Beginning is also a site for Memphis & Shelby County court ordered Community Service workers to fulfill their community service obligations in a safe and Christian environment as part of our Outreach Ministry Program.
Our Church...
New Beginning Church was established by our current Pastor, Craig Wilson, in 1996 in the Castalia area of Memphis in a small storefront. The church later moved to 1214 Norris Road, another Memphis storefront, where after two years of ministry, still continued to thrive. The church was able to raise enough revenue to purchase the property on Norris Road, as membership grew to about 108 members at that time. The simple storefront on Norris Road stayed home for New Beginning for ten more years after that.
In 2006, New Beginning moved to 1738 Winston Avenue located in the Frayser area of Memphis, TN. New Beginning Church remained in the Winston location until our church family grew out of the building, as membership continued to grow well into over 200 members. We then moved to 2300 Frayser Blvd., also in the Frayser area.
Since moving to our current home, in Southaven, MS at 777 Stateline Rd., New Beginning has started and maintained multiple ministries which serve the Frayser and Southaven communities.
New Beginning Church currently owns and maintains 10 properties; 4 churches, and 6 houses with a net worth over $1 Million.

New Beginning Wedding Chapel & Event Center
Located at 777 Stateline Rd. - E. in Southaven, MS 38671. We are unique in many ways. We know the planning of a wedding from afar can be a daunting task or any event for that matter.
We are dedicated to making every event a happy and memorable experience for all. Our goal is to accommodate our customer's needs for their special moments.
We have a full size kitchen for food prep and storage during the event. Our wedding chapel and event hall seats 120 and is also great for baby showers, anniversary and birthday celebrations, and even business meetings.
Pastor Craig Wilson of New Beginning Church is available on site, if an officiant is needed.
